Welcome To Your Advancement!
As a disciple of Christ, I blend the teachings of Catholicism and Religious Science. I am dedicated to guiding all souls into a conscious connection with their divine source. As a practicing Catholic, I honor the sacraments and biblical teachings. As a historian, I strive to understand and value all life.
Raised in a Catholic household, I often questioned the faith and didn’t always see eye to eye with the institution. As a result, I stepped away and explored many different religions. Though I was always deeply spiritual at my core, I questioned the idea that there was only one path.

Raised in a Catholic household, I often questioned the faith and didn’t always see eye to eye with the institution. As a result, I stepped away and explored many different religions. Though I was always deeply spiritual at my core, I questioned the idea that there was only one path.
I started attending Religious Science churches in 2000. Ernest Holmes, the founder of Religious Science, believed that spiritual principles could enhance personal faith without requiring conformity to a new religion. His open, inclusive perspective makes it possible for Catholics to embrace principles like affirmative prayer and the creative power of thought while remaining grounded in their Catholic faith.
These are concepts I have deeply internalized. On my journey to becoming a licensed practitioner, I returned to the Catholic faith and continue to study, teach, and coach on the teachings of both the Catholic Church and Science of Mind.
It is possible to be a practicing Catholic and a Science of Mind practitioner by integrating the principles of both traditions harmoniously and respectfully. I find ways to bridge the spiritual practices of both and focus on their complementary aspects. I do this by:

Both Catholicism and Science of Mind emphasize the presence of God or Divine Power as the source of all life.
2. Use Prayer and Meditation
In Catholicism, prayer is a vital practice, encompassing liturgical prayers, personal devotions, and contemplative reflection. Science of Mind emphasizes affirmative prayer, focusing on declaring positive outcomes in alignment with divine truth. I incorporate both by attending Mass and praying traditional Catholic prayers, while also practicing affirmative prayer to cultivate a deeper relationship with God.
3. Practice Love and Compassion
A major tenet of Catholicism is living out the teachings of Jesus by practicing love, charity, and compassion toward others. Science of Mind similarly encourages individuals to live with love, peace, and an understanding of unity with all of life. I merge both by committing to acts of kindness, service, and love.
4. Embrace Healing and Wholeness
Science of Mind focuses on the power of prayer to heal and transform. Catholicism also believes in prayer’s ability to bring healing and transformation, whether through the sacraments or personal and communal prayers. I blend these by seeking both sacramental healing in the Catholic Church and affirming the manifestation of health and wholeness through alignment with God’s power.
5. Hold Space for Mystery
Catholicism embraces the mystery of faith, such as the Incarnation and the Eucharist. Science of Mind, also acknowledges that there is a spiritual law and mystery beyond our full understanding.

Communities offer opportunities to learn, grow, teach, and to serve. I have found that when I give my time, talent, and treasures to my communities, I advance and develop a deeper connection with my source. Both my Catholic and Science of Mind communities respect my journey of integrating both paths. My Catholic communities offer a space for worship and sacraments. While my Science of Mind community provides tools for spiritual growth and mental empowerment. Both communities support fellowship and service.
Community offers opportunities to experience spiritual truths that are constantly unfolding. These experiences help me to be open to new insights and revelations. I believe that staying true to religion doesn’t mean rigidly clinging to past beliefs but rather allowing for growth and expansion in spiritual understanding. Spritual communities allow for me to evolve beyond my traditional forms and interpretations.
Communities allow everyone to work together to understand the nature of reality. Through working together we stay open to new discoveries and spiritual wisdom to complement each other. Working together people grow in their faith and dedication to achieve a higher purpose. Together we are serving, learning, growing, and achieving more that we could have without each other.
